Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you only cover wedding photography in Peterborough?
A: No. Although I predominantly cover Peterborough, Cambridgeshire & Rutland, I would be happy to work anywhere within the UK or overseas under the right circumstances.
Q: Do I need to pay a booking fee or deposit?
A: Yes. Your booking will only be secured once I have received your booking fee. The booking fee is required for all packages is £250 and this is non-refundable.
Q: Do you offer any kind of guarantee?
A: Yes. If you are unhappy with your wedding photography and it is a problem that cannot be rectified I will reimburse the appropriate amount of your fee. I am pleased to say that this has not happened so far. All my customers have been delighted with their photographs and my service. Please see my testimonials page.
Q: Are you fully insured?
A: Yes. I have an adequate level of both liability and indemnity insurance with a reputable company. Proof of this is always available upon request. Certain venues such as the National Trust will insist on your wedding photographer having a certain level of liability insurance in order to allow them to work on their grounds.
Q: Do you have a contract?
A: Yes. I insist on a contract being signed before any wedding photography event. It is a standard wedding photography contract which is designed to protect both me as the photographer and you as the client. You should be wary of any wedding photographer who has no contract in place.
Q: Do you offer a free consultation before I commit to a booking?
A: Yes. This is something I really like to promote as it is of benefit to both the client and me as the wedding photographer. A consultation ensures that we all get to know each other a little and assess if we can all work together going forward. You will spend more time with your wedding photographer than anyone else on your wedding day so it is important that you like them. It also gives me the opportunity to explain exactly how my service will work for you.
Q: What will happen if you become ill or unable to attend the wedding day?
A: Luckily this has never happened to me, but in the event of me becoming too ill to cover your wedding photography, I would do everything in my power to arrange a suitable replacement. I am a member of several groups and communities set up for this very purpose. i also have a lot of friends and colleagues in the industry who I could call upon to replace me should I ever need to. In the unlikely event that I could not find a replacement wedding photographer, I would of course reimburse you the whole of your fee. I any event, you would be notified immediately so alternative arrangements can be made.
