I am a wedding photographer in Peterborough, Stamford and Rutland. Although I work predominantly in these areas, I love to travel, so I would be more than happy to work elsewhere in the UK and indeed overseas should the right opportunity present itself.
I love a good wedding and therefore I don't see wedding photography as a job..... I see it as a joy, an honour and a privilege to have been entrusted with a task as important as photographing a couple's wedding day. I offer a professional and reliable service, always. My service to you starts from the minute you pick up the telephone or email me to arrange your initial consultation and continues up to the point you are presented with beautiful photographs of your special day.
We’ve all heard of the diva chef that refuses to cook your steak well done, as it ruins the taste right? Well I’m no diva you will be glad to know. Of course I will offer you my guidance and expertise of what will make great photographs, but ultimately I work for YOU, so what YOU say goes….. as long as it’s reasonable and in my power of course. If you suddenly decide you are getting married whilst diving out of an aeroplane and ask me to follow, I may have to reconsider. Though saying that, I’d be up for most situations.
Fully Insured
I hold an appropriate level of cover for both Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance. Unfortunately not every wedding photographer in Peterborough will have insurance. Without an adequate level of insurance your chosen photographer may not be allowed to work at your chosen venue.
Quality of my Work
All of my photographs are captured with a great deal of care and thought. Each image is then lovingly enhanced one at a time with professional specialist software to ensure that no detail is lost. I never batch edit my images to save time as to do so would sacrifice the quality of my images.

Professional Equipment
I am predominantly a Canon user when it comes to wedding photography and all the equipment I use is of high standard. I clean and maintain my equipment regularly to keep it in good working order, however, all electronic and mechanical equipment can malfunction from time to time. As a precaution I always carry spare equipment to cover such an eventuality. I also have insurance to cover my photographic equipment in the event of breakdown or damage.

My Photographic Style
I am not one of those 'in your face' wedding photographers who frantically dashes about bossing you and your guests around whilst blinding the entire wedding party with my flash. I like to be discreet; almost invisible in fact for the most of it. This way I can capture those natural, candid shots which often show the real emotions of the day such as Uncle Bob stealing the dance floor with his Michael Jackson impression or the father of the bride discretely dabbing his tears away.
However, the above being said does not mean that I will be shy and not interact with you and your guests, not by any means. I will be chatting and mingling with your guests, helping them to relax so I can get some fun and contemporary photos.
As you will see by looking through my wedding portfolio, my wedding photography style is a mixture of reportage and classic wedding photography.
But remember, it is your wedding day and therefore it is all about what you want. Your wish is my command.... I will l listen intently to your wishes and follow them to the best of my ability. Think of me as your very own genie with a camera.
There will be plenty of opportunity before the wedding for me to discuss your requirements with you. Together we will create a photography schedule for shots that need a little more organisation such as family / group photos or for when I take the the two of you away on your own for your private romantic photographs.
I will usually ask you to nominate willing members of the wedding party such as the ushers or the best man to assist me in rounding up guests for the family / group shots. In my experience this always works very well and makes things less chaotic. This also means that I won't have to keep interrupting you on the day causing as little disruption to your enjoyment as possible.
A Story of Love and Happily Ever After
When your beautiful fairy tale wedding is over and the normality of everyday life slowly creeps back in, the memories of your wedding day will start to fade. A sad thought indeed. But, imagine you have a photographic story of your wedding day..... your very own visual fairy tale showing everything from the bridal preparations to the first dance, all of it packed with emotion.... the tears, the laughter, the nerves and of course no wedding would be complete without some level of drunken debauchery.
